Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer / PostgreSQL DBA to administer, sustain, optimize, and protect JPES/JCRM data environments. You will manage PostgreSQL databases, perform tuning, and support backup, security, and data integration efforts.

Required: 6+ years in database engineering/administration, strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, U.S. citizenship with Secret eligibility. Preferred: ED B PostgreSQL, Oracle familiarity, cloud-hosted databases, and DoD/classified environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of database engineering/administration experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security.

• Troubleshoot database and data-exchange issues.
• Support data mapping, migration, and integration activities.

Required

• BA/ BS in an engineering discipline. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• 6+ years database engineering/administration experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience.
• Advanced SQL.
• Backup/recovery and performance tuning.
• Database troubleshooting and security.
• U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility.

Preferred

• EDB PostgreSQL.
• Oracle familiarity.

Compensation

Salary range $130,000-$160,000

This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
