Rowan Digital Infrastructure Pty Ltd is seeking a Data Engineer, Operations Analytics to build and govern an Azure-based data platform and Databricks pipelines. You will own data from handoff to curated, analysis-ready tables, collaborating with Data Scientists, IT, and vendor partners.

The role supports AI and language model use cases, with travel up to 25% and a 3-day hybrid in-office schedule in Denver, Colorado. Compensation ranges from $108K to $125K, with bonus opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related data platform role.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Experience with Azure data services and cloud concepts.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Experience with data modeling and data quality monitoring.
• Experience with time-series or telemetry data.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve the data platform on Azure and Databricks, including ingestion, storage, and curated layers.
• Govern the workspace through Unity Catalog with design, permissions, lineage, and classification for auditable access.
• Own ingestion into Databricks from vendor partners and IT, reviewing upstream data platform work.
• Design, build, test, and monitor production pipelines for power, cooling, equipment, and monitoring data.
• Define and maintain a reference data standard and data dictionary for sites, assets, and vendors.
• Build data quality checks, monitoring, alerts, and runbooks for quick issue resolution.
• Publish and maintain curated tables serving models, Tableau scorecards, and KPIs.
• Partner with Data Scientist to build Genie spaces and LLM-powered tools with curated tables and queries.
• Prepare data for AI/LLM use cases, including vector search indexes and retrieval pipelines.
