Job summary

Pretius Ltd. is seeking a Data Engineer with MS Fabric to build a data and reporting solution for PwC US. The role combines data engineering, Power BI development, and business stakeholder collaboration, with a focus on enabling conversational data access via GenAI solutions.

You will build and maintain pipelines in Fabric, develop data models, and create Power BI reports (DAX, KPIs) while working closely with US stakeholders to measure AI adoption and business value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse/Warehouse, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and notebooks.
• Strong Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX, and semantic models.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with Python and/or PySpark.
• Experience integrating data from various sources, such as APIs, files, databases, and SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of or a strong interest in GenAI solutions for data analytics, including text-to-SQL/DAX, Fabric Data Agents, or Power BI Copilot.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and approaches to evaluating LLM output quality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to independently clarify ambiguous business requirements.
• Fluent English, with confidence in working directly with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Develop data transformations, data models, and semantic models for reporting and analytics.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, including DAX measures and business KPIs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and measure AI adoption and business value.
• Contribute to conversational data access solutions using Fabric Data Agents, Power BI Copilot, or custom LLM-based solutions.
• Validate the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated answers by designing test scenarios and defining the scope of supported queries.
