Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Mid Data Engineer to help build pipelines and scalable data platforms for mission-driven projects in the DC area. You will deploy and develop data pipelines, organize disparate data sources, and collaborate with analysts, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years with Python or R, experience with APIs/databases, and familiarity with LLMs/GenAI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of data engineering experience.
2+ years of experience with Python or R for data science.
Experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing data from APIs and databases.
Experience with LLMs/GenAI and preparing data for AI/GenAI models.
Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in data engineering, or 7+ years of experience in data engineering in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy data pipelines and platforms.
Organize and make disparate data meaningful.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers.
Lead assessment, design, build, and maintenance of scalable data platforms.
Support clients to derive insights for missions.
