Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Data/Backend Engineer (Mid) to join our client’s team onsite in Richfield, MN. You will contribute to a reusable data integration framework with a focus on resiliency and system health, while collaborating with fellow engineers on roadmap features.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Java or Python, strong GCP experience (Dataflow, BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud Functions), and familiarity with SFTP/S3/GCS, encryption tooling, and multiple databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience Java and/or Python
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform using tools such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud Functions
• Experience working with integration patterns/tools such as SFTP, S3, GCS Buckets, PGP Encryption
• Experience using Agentic AI workflow tools to write code
• Experience with various databases (BigQuery, BigTable, Oracle, Mongo, and Postgres)

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to help build out a reusable framework for handling data integrations with a focus on resiliency, system health visibility and modularity
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation, where you will handle external questions, monitor system health and handle administrative type tasks.
• During your non on call time, you'll be work with other engineers to build out features and functionality as we progress on our roadmap

Job Summary Our client, a leading Retail & Consumer Goods provider, is seeking a Data/Backend Engineer (Mid) to join their team! This position will report onsite at our client's Richfield, MN location. Relocation candidates are welcomed. The strongest candidate would sit at the intersection of data engineering + cloud engineering + API/integration development.

Core Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to help build out a reusable framework for handling data integrations with a focus on resiliency, system health visibility and modularity

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $39.00 and $57.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
