Data Engineer (Kafka) at BairesDev

As a Data Engineer specialized in Kafka, you will design and build high-performance, real-time streaming pipelines. You will act as a technical link between raw event streams and actionable data insights, ensuring that distributed systems communicate efficiently through robust event-driven patterns.

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement scalable real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka or Confluent.
• Develop streaming applications using Flink, Spark Streaming, or Kinesis to process high-volume event data.
• Manage and maintain the schema registry to ensure data consistency and compatibility across systems.
• Architect and implement event-driven patterns using Java, Scala, or Python.
• Optimize streaming infrastructure for low latency, high throughput, and reliable data delivery.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on real-time stream processing.
• Proven expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using Apache Kafka or Confluent.
• Hands-on experience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, or AWS Kinesis.
• Proficiency in developing event-driven patterns using programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python.
• Strong understanding of data governance and schema management using tools like Schema Registry.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
