Amgen's Grad Intern Data Engineer in Technology, AI & Data (Summer 2027) offers hands-on experience building data pipelines for an Enterprise Data Lake, collaborating with product owners and data scientists, and contributing to scalable data solutions.

You will design end-to-end pipelines, develop infrastructure with Python, SQL and AWS, and explore rapid POC ideas while preparing for future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in an MBA/Masters/PharmD/PhD program and completion of the first year before the internship starts
• Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship
• Must be available to commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered
• 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines and support infrastructure
• Build new infrastructure and analytics tools using Python, SQL and AWS
• Proactively identify & implement opportunities to automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks; participate in rapid POC solutions
