Job summary

Optimum Media is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to support development and maintenance of data pipelines, data infrastructure, and analytical data solutions. You will collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams to ingest, process, and manage data across systems.

You will gain hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks while enhancing data quality, tooling, and pipeline reliability in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Data Science/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate SQL and Python skills; comfortable with data manipulation and transformation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) and ETL/ELT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with relational databases and data warehouses to support processing and reporting needs.
• Write SQL queries and Python code for data structuring, validation, and automation.
