Baynovation, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to join our team in San Jose, CA. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power insights and products.

You will gain hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, and storage on cloud platforms, while focusing on data quality and reliability from day one.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Data Engineering/IS.
• Experience with databases and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and data modeling concepts.
• Proficient in at least one data engineering language (Python/Java/Scala) and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on production solutions.
• Ensure data reliability, integrity, and cross-system consistency.
• Work with cloud-based tools to ingest, transform, and store data.
• Write clean, testable code with mentor guidance and participate in code reviews.
