Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to work closely with our BI and IT teams to develop and maintain internal business intelligence reporting, dashboards, and data systems. The role requires hands-on experience with SQL, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, as well as predictive analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement applications using current and emerging technology platforms.
- Ensure applications comply with data management standards.
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and utilize SQL Server for reporting and data requests.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure quality and monitoring.
- Communicate issues and resolutions effectively.
- Document technical processes and application procedures.
- Maintain compliance with change management and security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years in database analysis or development with SQL Server, SSIS, and report generation.
- 2+ years in the financial or banking industry is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of relational database design.
- Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, C# or VB.NET.
- Proficiency in database development, query writing, and optimization.
- Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data governance standards is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours/week.
