Job summary

27Global is seeking a Data Engineer II to design scalable data architectures, models, and governance frameworks supporting analytics and real-time processing. You will collaborate with data architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

Key responsibilities include developing data pipelines for AI/ML workloads, integrating models into production, and ensuring data quality and security.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering delivering scalable solutions.
• 2–4 years of experience writing .NET or other OOP languages in Agile environments.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, C#, PySpark, Data Lake/Delta Lake, SQL, ETL/ELT, NoSQL/Relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms with data lake.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, high‑performance data architectures.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define standards for data integration, quality, and governance with architects.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to align data solutions.
• Support cloud data strategies: data warehousing, pipelines, real-time processing.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for AI/ML and analytics workloads.
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and real-time inference.
• Integrate AI/ML models into production using AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Databricks.
• Learn and apply emerging data technologies to stay current.
