Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Data Engineer II to transform ML experiments into reliable production workloads. You will work daily with Databricks, build scalable data pipelines, and instrument observability to keep models governable from day one.

You’ll partner with data scientists and engineers, shipping code that supports multiple teams and informs business decisions with stable, observable data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Eight years of related data engineering experience.
• Strong software engineering and DevOps practices applied to data/ML workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions; ensure quality and data cleansing.
• Design complex data solutions and assess value of data sources.
• Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products.
