Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines that power analytics, ML, and business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver context-rich datasets and self-service tools.

The role focuses on data quality, governance, and end-to-end delivery from intake through deployment to decommission. Strong SQL and programming skills (Python/Java/Scala), plus experience with AWS data services

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/IS/Math or related field.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with at least one modern scripting/programming language (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects independently.

Responsabilités

• Own the design, development, and operation of scalable, production-grade data pipelines and their behind-the-scenes infrastructure.
• Build context-rich datasets and reusable data models tracking the infrastructure delivery lifecycle.
• Design ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform data from diverse sources using AWS services and internal tools.
• Define and champion data quality, governance, validation, monitoring, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Software, Product, and other Data Engineering teams to enable self-service analytics.
