Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior data professional to build and operationalize complex data solutions in a Gen AI environment. You will design data architectures, implement transformations, and ensure governance and quality across cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, educating users on data products, and resolving data/system defects while delivering in small batches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
• Eight years of related experience.
• Four additional years of data engineering experience.
• Understanding Gen AI concepts including Agentic Frameworks, RAG, LLM, Chunking, and Hyper-parameters.
• Experience as a Full Stack Designer/architect focused on data engineering and Gen AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms.
• Ability to deliver complete solutions in small batches and negotiate tradeoffs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teams and business partners.

• Domain expertise, understanding of technical concepts and industry trends, and in-depth knowledge of immediate systems plus some adjacent systems


• Strong problem-solving ability and innovative issue resolution
