WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will collaborate with multiple organizations, leading efforts to transform Cisco by developing and implementing analytic models and intelligent automation, driving us towards a data-driven digital organization.

Digital Lifecycle Journey’s (DLJ) expertise makes us uniquely qualified to meet the evolving expectations of today’s connected customers and partners, along with Cisco sellers. Using real-time connected data, machine learning, and automation, the team enables Cisco sellers and partners to deliver personalized experiences throughout the customer lifecycle, enhancing revenue, reducing costs, and improving sales effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Provide leadership and support for developing integrated data foundations to enable business intelligence and machine learning for Cisco platforms.
  • Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables that meet usability, scalability, quality, and performance standards.
  • Offer hands-on technical support, research, and quality assurance testing.
  • Utilize various technologies to ingest, transform, index, aggregate, correlate, provide APIs, visualize, and enable organizational data needs.
  • Analyze data storage requirements and ensure completeness of solutions.
WHO YOU ARE

As a Data Engineer, you focus on enabling data-driven optimization by sourcing, maintaining, and ensuring the availability of data for marketing insights and customer experience improvements. You integrate batch and streaming data approaches to support business intelligence, decision automation, and machine learning. You help make data more understandable and accessible, leading to technological pivots and innovations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate or upcoming graduate of a technical degree or certification program from a technical boot camp, apprenticeship, community college, or university.
  • Open to 0-3 years of relevant experience or recent graduates, or those in their final year of a Master’s program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with big-data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of application without visa sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development for data integration.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau.
  • Understanding of data security standards including encryption, secure transfer, and access controls.
  • Knowledge of full-stack development for comprehensive data solutions.
