OSC EdgeTech is seeking a Data Engineer II to join our Enterprise Data Management initiative in the United States. You will help develop and maintain data pipelines, prepare and validate data for business use, and implement data management practices under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, document data requirements, and ensure data quality, security, and compliance across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 2+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Experience with data pipelines, data models, and data integration.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages used in data engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with data quality validation and testing.
• Ability to document and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

• Assist in creating and maintaining data models and data mappings.
• Support development and maintenance of data pipelines and integration processes.
• Analyze and validate source data for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements.
• Perform data quality checks and validation procedures.
• Configure and administer cloud-based data services under guidance.
• Apply data security and governance practices in daily work.
• Prepare technical and process documentation and status reports.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and support improvements.
• Follow ISMS/EMS safety and environmental procedures.
