27Global LLC in Leawood, KS is hiring a Data Engineer II to build enterprise data solutions powering analytics and AI-ready pipelines. In this role you will collaborate with data/software architects and engineering teams to deliver data models, integration approaches, governance practices, and cloud-based pipelines designed for AI/ML-ready workloads.

You will work across the data lifecycle, designing secure architectures and optimizing pipelines to support advanced analytics and production

Qualifications

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles delivering scalable architecture solutions from design through production.
• 2–4 years of experience writing .Net code or other object-oriented programming languages in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with on-shore and off-shore collaboration.
• Proficiency with Spark, Scala, C#, PySpark, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, including AWS Glue and Azure Synapse.
• Experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms with data lake architecture.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to context switch and work on multiple projects.
• Hybrid work from Leawood, KS after 90 days, occasional client onsite.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

27Global is hiring a Data Engineer II in Leawood, KS (hybrid) to help build enterprise data solutions that power analytics, business intelligence, and scalable applications. In this role, you will collaborate with data/software architects and engineering teams to deliver data models, integration approaches, governance practices, and cloud-based pipelines designed for AI/ML-ready workloads.

You will work across the data lifecycle, from designing secure and high-performance architectures to optimizing pipelines that support advanced analytics and production deployments. The position also involves staying current with emerging data technologies and frameworks to continuously improve solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Partner with architects to define standards for data integration, quality, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational needs.
• Support cloud-based data strategies, including data warehousing, pipelines, and real-time processing.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics workloads.
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and real-time inference capabilities for predictive modeling.
