Servco Pacific Inc is seeking a Data Engineer I in Honolulu for a hybrid role with up to one day remote work. You will help build and maintain data pipelines, transform and model data for analytics and AI, and contribute to reliable data infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/Info/DS/Business Analytics or Information Management preferred; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years in an individual contributor capacity with exposure to process mining, requirements gathering, and translating needs into data pipeline or reporting support.
• SQL programming experience with data integrations; Python experience with data manipulation, analysis, and automation (NumPy, Pandas, Selenium).
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows, PRs, peer review, and basic merge conflicts.
• Foundational knowledge of data orchestration, data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dbt documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines moving data from sources to storage/processing environments.
• Support logical/physical data structures for reporting, analytics, warehousing, and cloud storage needs.
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and usable; monitor and improve pipeline performance.
• Assist with deployment, maintenance, and documentation of data infrastructure; provide after-hours support when needed.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to support downstream analytics and data quality.
