Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a data-focused software professional to build, maintain, and operate ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation systems in the United States.

You will collaborate with the analytics team to deliver reliable data solutions and scalable data processing capabilities. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in a related field, demonstrates intermediate Python skills, and has experience with SQL databases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Passion for data and eagerness to learn is essential.
• Intermediate Python experience; knowledge of data processing (Numpy, Pandas) is a plus.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the analytics team to design reliable data solutions.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to support data needs.
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, and production from database tables.
• Build utilities, user-defined functions, and data flow frameworks.
• Develop automated unit tests and participate in integration testing.
• Address operational and performance issues with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering leads to ensure quality solutions.
