Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking a data-focused engineer to build and operate integrations, reporting pipelines, and data transformation systems. You will collaborate with analytics to design reliable data solutions and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to meet business needs.

The role requires strong Python, experience with relational databases, and excellent communication. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Data Analytics or related field.
• Passion for data and a strong desire to learn.
• Proficient Python with data processing experience (NumPy, Pandas).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analytics to design reliable data solutions for business needs.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to support data demands.
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, and production from database tables.
• Build utilities, user-defined functions, and frameworks to improve data flows.
• Develop automated unit tests and participate in integration testing.
• Work with teams to resolve operational and performance issues.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering to ensure quality and best practices.
