Job summary

Netomi is seeking a data engineer to architect scalable data pipelines and enable real-time analytics for product teams. You will work with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to model data for analytics and ensure data quality.

You will develop ETL/ELT processes, write robust Python with tests, and thrive in an agile environment delivering end-to-end features for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend software development roles.
• Solid understanding of Relational Databases (RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure data pipelines using modern data platforms (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake).
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various structured and unstructured sources.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, validate data integrity, and derive insights for data product development and business decisions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to design data models for analytics and real-time insights.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code with comprehensive unit and integration tests for reliability.
• Thrive in an agile environment and own end-to-end feature delivery.
