Job summary

Netomi is seeking a highly analytical data engineer to join the Analytics team in Gurugram. You will architect scalable data pipelines, ingest data from diverse sources, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enable real-time insights.

You will develop ETL/ELT processes, perform EDA to uncover trends, and contribute to the scoring, benchmarking, and reporting of product operations projects. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential, as is experience with cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend software development roles.
• Solid understanding of Relational Databases (RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ for building asynchronous, decoupled systems.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and at least one data pipeline orchestration tool (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi, Prefect).
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure data pipelines using modern data platforms (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake).
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from multiple sources.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and derive insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to design data models.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests in Python.
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery in an agile environment.
