Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range $109,300.00 - $180,200.00

As a Data Engineer I at Travelers, you'll contribute to how Business Insurance General Liability (GL) and CMP pricing decisions are powered by data. Working alongside Actuarial and Data Science partners, you'll help turn analytical ideas into trusted, production-grade assets that directly influence pricing outcomes across core insurance products. You'll build growing domain expertise in GL and CMP while contributing to modernization efforts and evolving pricing capabilities. Through high-visibility initiatives, your work will help strengthen data reliability, model readiness, and long-term scalability across pricing platforms. The ideal candidate is eager to grow as a data engineer, curious about the insurance domain, and energized by cross-functional collaboration.
