The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse using the Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architecture and collaborating across teams globally. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in data engineering or related roles, strong SQL and Python skills, and a willingness to learn Databricks, Spark, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark with basic OOP knowledge.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL concepts, and version control (Git).
• Exposure to Databricks, Spark, and cloud technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ingestion pipelines landing raw data into Bronze layer.
• Support Silver layer transformations: cleansing, deduplication, schema enforcement.
• Write SQL and PySpark for defined transformation tasks.
• Run and monitor scheduled jobs; investigate pipeline failures and document fixes.
