Job summary

Joyce University is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and a modern data warehouse that supports enrollment, retention, course outcomes, and finance analytics. You will partner with SIS, LMS, CRM teams and data consumers across the university to deliver reliable data sources and semantic models for Sigma and internal dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience building data pipelines or data warehouses in production
• Advanced SQL skills with complex queries and performance tuning (Snowflake preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from core systems (SIS/LMS/CRM) and third-party sources
• Design and maintain the data warehouse using dimensional modeling (star schemas, conformed dimensions)
• Build automated data-quality checks and reconcile warehouse figures against source systems
• Deliver data sources and semantic models for Sigma and internal dashboards
• Evaluate current data systems and recommend architectural improvements.
