Netguru is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 100% remote, freelance B2B engagement. You will design data pipelines using Python, leveraging Databricks and dbt, and collaborate with international teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with data mapping, and knowledge of Data Vault modeling in a distributed environment. English communication with vendors is essential.

Qualificações

• At least 4 years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Experience working on projects within a development team.
• Strong Python skills for building data pipelines, with hands-on experience in Databricks and dbt.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data mapping.
• Good understanding of the JSON data format.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with event streaming and topics (Kafka / Debezium).
• Experience in data validation.
• Experience writing data unit tests and integration tests.
• Knowledge of Data Vault modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation fluently, handle business correspondence, and communicate verbally with international external vendors.
• University degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working with applications in distributed environments.
• Experience using AI tools in automated workflows.

Project Details:

• Location: European Union
• Contract type: Full-time, freelance B2B
• Rate: 150-175 PLN/h
• Start: asap
• Duration: 3-6 months (with possibilty of extension)
