Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer in Menlo Park to shape data assets across its family of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more. You will design scalable data models and build pipelines that power dashboards for product and business teams.

You will own end-to-end metrics, coordinate logging and data staging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with data in data engineering, data analytics or related roles.
• Strong SQL, ETL, data modeling skills and at least one programming language (Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.).
• Experience designing scalable data artifacts, logging, dashboards, and data quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Scope and own metrics for parental-controls and teen-experience features, including logging, staging data, aggregates, and dashboards.
• Decide ownership of data components across teams based on skills and domain knowledge.
