Job summary

First Orion is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build data-driven products in the data engineering team. You will work on low-latency APIs, ETL pipelines, and big data apps within a fast-paced SDLC, partnering with data science and product teams to safeguard consumers from telecom fraud.

You will leverage Spark in Python/Scala, Databricks, AWS, and Kubernetes while contributing to TDs and tests, ensuring scalable, reliable data solutions across hundreds of millions of users and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 3+ years in data or software engineering.
• 2+ years with Spark in Python/Scala.
• 2+ years AWS experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL jobs and analytics pipelines.
• Build low-latency REST APIs for data products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders.
• Create technical designs and TDs for projects.
• Ensure tests and maintainable code.
