Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to build, manage, and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and strategic business needs. You will identify source data systems, monitor data flows, and adapt pipelines to changing requirements while collaborating with IT and business teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years' experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio IDE, and SSIS or ETL platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio IDE, and SSIS or equivalent ETL platforms.
• Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education in systems and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand source data systems and data flow between systems.
• Assemble large sets of data that meet business requirements and ensure data quality and security.
• Deliver trustworthy data and support optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
• Document pipelines and conduct knowledge sharing with peers.
