Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions in Chicago, IL is seeking a mid-level data engineer to automate a manual, Excel-based monthly data process. You will build the data pipeline and ETL logic in Python to replace CSV exports, perform reference-data lookups, and generate output files programmatically.

The role requires SQL on a cloud data warehouse, Google BigQuery experience, and Power BI to connect live reports. A background in legacy Excel/VBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience building ETL pipelines in Python.
• Comfortable writing and adapting SQL queries against cloud data warehouses.
• Direct experience querying and scheduling extracts from BigQuery.
• Building live Power BI reports to replace static Excel outputs.
