University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer in Knoxville.

The role will build and optimize enterprise ETL pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments, integrating Salesforce, Fabric, Azure, SFTP, and data warehouse platforms to support reporting, analytics, and dashboards. The engineer will collaborate with BI analysts, CRM admins, and Data Platform teams on semantic modeling and data transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in BI, data engineering, CRM, analytics or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise data architecture.
• Experience developing enterprise ETL/ELT initiatives.
• Experience supporting enterprise CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience managing cloud-based data environments, preferably Fabric and/or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Implements, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Develops reporting views, transformation logic, and semantic-layer objects for BI and analytics.
• Collaborates with BI analysts, CRM admins, and Data Platform teams to meet reporting needs.
• Maintains technical documentation and follows data governance and security standards.
