Job summary

Royal Electric seeks a Data Engineer to join the Digital Transformation team in Dallas. You will design and maintain data pipelines, integrate ERP/MRP and project systems, and build governed datasets to power reporting and forecasting.

Collaboration with IT, Finance, and PMO is essential to enable reliable enterprise analytics. Responsibilities include automating data movement, improving data quality, and supporting analytics across ERP, scheduling, and financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related data platform work.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines, integrating APIs, and data modeling.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure-based data services, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience in data modeling and scalable data structures for analytics and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, data quality, and documentation skills.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD for data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines to support project managers and executives.
• Integrate data from ERP/MRP, project management, scheduling, and financial systems into governed datasets.
• Develop transformations that standardize project, labor, cost, vendor, and operational data.
• Support system integrations, upgrades, and digital transformation projects.
• Automate data movement and workflows through scripting and APIs.
