Job summary

PRIMUS Global Services seeks a Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to design, develop, and support scalable data platforms for payroll, financial, and analytical datasets. This hybrid role is based in Parsippany, NJ, requiring 3 days onsite per week.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Python, SQL, PySpark, and data quality frameworks, building robust data pipelines and lakehouse

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog in large-scale data platforms.
• Strong PySpark, Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures.

We have an immediate need for an experienced
Data Engineer with strong expertise in
Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, PySpark, Python, SQL, data pipelines, and modern lakehouse architecture to design, develop, and support scalable data platforms for large-scale payroll, financial, and analytical datasets.

This is a
hybrid position based in Parsippany, NJ, requiring 3 days onsite per week for a candidate with deep experience in Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles (Declarative Automation Bundles), AWS or Azure, Python, SQL, PySpark, pandas, NumPy, data modeling, ETL/ELT, CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, and data quality frameworks.
