Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will work with Python, PySpark, and SQL to implement medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and collaborate with analysts, BI developers, and offshore teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

The role emphasizes strong technical execution, governance with Unity Catalog, and ongoing modernization with GenAI and orchestration tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering delivering production workloads.
• Strong experience with Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines on Databricks using Python, PySpark, and SQL with medallion architecture.
• Package, version, and deploy reusable pipeline components using Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs).
• Implement CI/CD workflows across environments using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Review offshore data engineering work and ensure quality, consistency, and standards.
