Indicium AI is seeking a Data Engineer Consultant for the US Delivery Team to build production-grade data pipelines for enterprise clients, modernizing legacy setups into cloud-native Lakehouses. You will work hands-on with Databricks, dbt, Python, and Terraform, collaborating with clients and nearshore squads to deliver scalable solutions in weeks, while ensuring data quality and governance.

Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $175,000 per year, with potential annual bonus; final offer depends

Qualifications

• Production-grade data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Databricks Lakehouse platform experience including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
• dbt for data transformation, testing, and documentation
• Terraform scripts for deploying cloud data infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
• Git-based CI/CD workflows and scheduling with Airflow

Responsibilities

• Build Lakehouse Modernization Pipelines converting legacy data setups to PySpark/Databricks SQL and Delta Live Tables
• Data Modeling & Transformation with dbt and advanced SQL
• Automate Infrastructure with Terraform for cloud resources
• Build and monitor ELT/ETL workflows with Airflow and Databricks Workflows
• Collaborate directly with clients and nearshore squads to deliver on time
• Troubleshoot pipelines and optimize SQL/Spark performance
