We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, Databricks) and to build reporting integrations with AWS QuickSight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering or software development experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Authorized to work in the United States and reside in the United States for the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows using SQL, Python, Databricks, and cloud technologies.
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database objects, queries, data models, and access patterns.
• Build and maintain integrations supporting DataConnect reporting via AWS QuickSight and Databricks.
• Develop API services and reusable components for secure data access and system integration.
• Support ETL of data from multiple sources while meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create data-quality checks, monitoring, and operational alerts.
• Troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline reliability, performance, and availability.
• Write unit and integration tests for data-processing code and participate in code reviews.
