Job summary

Continuum, a Denver-based managed service for TV advertising, is seeking a BI/Data Engineer to design and operate robust ETLs, build dashboards, and ensure data accuracy. You will work with a small, cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end data solutions that drive decision-making across the organization.

The role involves collaborating with data scientists and software engineers, improving the data platform, and contributing to CI/CD and IaC efforts.

Qualifications

• 01-3 years in BI platform development or data engineering.
• Proficient in Python scripting and SQL across major engines.
• Experience with cloud services and data visualization tools.
• Familiar with version control and automated tests as standard.
• Comfort translating business needs into data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and own robust, scalable ETLs for cleaning and ingestion.
• Build and maintain dashboards for internal and client use.
• Investigate data discrepancies across layers and implement fixes.
• Automate and improve ingestions; expand data quality checks.
• Enhance the cloud-based data platform and CI/CD processes.
• GATHER requirements from clients and translate to BI work.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists.
• Communicate new features and lead internal trainings.
• Foster a collaborative, agile team culture.
