Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Data Engineer, Solutions & Data to design, build, and operate data pipelines and integration processes translating raw data into trusted analytics datasets. The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and secure access to integrated data to support business initiatives.

The position sits in any U.S. office with a hybrid work schedule and cross-functional collaboration in Agile Pods. Proficiency in SQL/Python and Azure data services is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Azure data tooling including Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hubs, SSIS.
• Azure Synapse Analytics and data warehousing fundamentals.
• PowerShell scripting for operations.
• Experience with Java, Scala, or Go and data integration across systems.
• Familiarity with DataOps and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize data pipelines across heterogeneous environments (SLAs).
• Ingest, transform, and publish data for analytics-ready datasets.
• Consolidate data sources into a centralized integration point and map fields.
• Design data pipelines using Azure tech to ingest and deliver data.
• Maintain data warehousing with Azure Synapse for analytics workloads.
• Identify and resolve data quality, latency, and security issues; monitor pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in agile pods.
