We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and its core solutions — Real‑Time Customer Data Platform (RT‑CDP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).

The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that enable personalized customer experiences, real‑time activation, and advanced journey analytics.

This role involves close collaboration with data architects, marketers, and analysts to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and unified customer data flows across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines into AEP using batch and streaming sources.
  • Adobe RT‑CDP Engineering: Implement RT‑CDP schemas, connectors, identity resolution rules, and audience activation workflows.
  • Integration & Transformation: Work with APIs, ETL/ELT tools, and orchestration frameworks to enable data movement between AEP and enterprise systems (CRM, DWH, analytics).
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO): Configure event datasets, triggers, and journey data pipelines for real‑time activation.
  • Customer Journey Analytics (CJA): Prepare and integrate datasets for unified data models supporting cross‑channel analytics.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
  • Collaboration: Partner with Adobe architects and marketing teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize ingestion, storage, and query performance within AEP and cloud environments.
  • Documentation & Automation: Maintain technical documentation and automate workflows using scripts and cloud‑native tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration.
  • 3–5 years in Adobe Experience Platform or similar CDP/MarTech ecosystems.
  • 3–4 years in RT‑CDP (data ingestion, XDM schema, identity resolution, audience activation).
  • 2–3 years in AJO (real‑time triggers, event datasets).
  • 1–3 years in CJA (data preparation and linking datasets).
Technical Skills
  • Programming: Python, SQL, or Scala (3–5 years).
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (S3, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Privacy compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adobe Certified Professional or Expert in RT‑CDP, AJO, or CJA.
  • Experience integrating Adobe Experience Cloud with CRM, CMS, and DMP platforms.
  • Familiarity with JSON, Parquet, Avro formats.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Git‑based version control.
