Job summary

Disney Experiences in Orlando seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and oversee data architectures and pipelines using AWS, Snowflake, and modern data tools. You will help capture, manage, and utilize data from diverse sources for analytics and guest experiences.

In this role, you’ll work in an Agile environment, develop data views and pipelines, and ensure data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Disney Parks and Resorts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Data Engineering experience in data warehouse environments.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with Snowflake and data pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with DBT and CI/CD.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of data security at rest and in transit.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines in AWS & Snowflake.
• Design and develop data views, assist with architecture decisions, deployment, and feedback.
• Develop and support data solutions using AWS services including CDK, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, and EC2.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot across a broad technical stack.
• Product ownership and strong business support in enterprise level theme park related environment.
• Working with a variety of business partner groups across Disney Parks and Resorts to implement optimal technical solutions.
• Provide data and system analysis needed for feature engineering.
• Develop and maintain data quality checks and validation processes to ensure reliable and accurate data assets.
