Job summary

Hearts & Science seeks a Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering Team. You will build, optimize and QA ETL jobs, design automated data warehouse solutions and work across Analytics, Data Science, IT and Investment teams to deliver batch and real-time data solutions on AWS.

This hands-on role requires Python proficiency, experience with data pipelines, and the ability to manage complex data transformation tasks within a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar STEM field.
• 3+ years building data pipelines with ETL and big data tech.
• 3+ years Python in a Linux environment.
• Experience deploying AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Redshift).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to growth of enterprise data warehouse with stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Git repository.
• Clarify requirements with end-users and data SMEs.
• Mentor Data Analysts on planned workflows.
• Investigate and correct data inaccuracies in EDW.
• Document ETL and data warehouse processes.
