Job summary

Delta Defense, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to turn complex data into actionable insights that support smarter business decisions. You will help maintain the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, enable KPI reporting, and provide reliable data solutions for analytics across the business.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT skills, experience with AWS (S3/EMR), and familiarity with dbt and Agile SDLC. Onsite at West Bend HQ with some hybrid flexibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data engineering or BI experience.
• 3–5 years of SQL experience.
• Experience with AWS S3/EMR preferred.
• Proficiency with Python and data scripting.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT methodologies and analytics modeling.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, tested, reusable datasets for analysis.
• Contribute to data transformation standards and data quality.
• Support CI/CD, unit testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture to ensure data model quality.
• Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Assist with data housekeeping and model changes.
