Aretove Inc is seeking a Data Engineer Associate to join their Business Intelligence Practice in New York City. You will build and maintain data pipelines to deliver impactful insights for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience, including internships.
• Proven ability to write complex and optimized SQL queries across large and diverse data sets.
• 1+ years of experience programming in Python, preferably in a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience using GitHub or similar version control systems for collaborative, production-level code management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and modern data engineering tools.
• Write, modify, and automate scripts in Python, SQL, and related technologies to support data processing and workflow automation.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets from APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Assist in implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Contribute to data architecture design and documentation for scalable systems.
• Support deployment and maintenance of AI-powered solutions.
• Integrate and extract data by connecting to third-party APIs.
