Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in data engineering and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with SQL and modern programming languages (Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Build data models and cloud-based architectures for analytics and dashboards.
  • Respond to database problems and perform maintenance.
  • Analyze humanitarian datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data use.
