Innova Solutions provides a Data Engineer contract role based in Plano, TX. You design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines to create governed, scalable data products.

You will build Airflow DAGs, onboard new data sources, manage Iceberg tables, and enable enterprise analytics and reporting with robust data lakehouse architectures. Strong SQL, Linux, and scripting skills, plus Agile collaboration, are required.

Formación

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Python data engineering
• 2+ years Airflow DAGs in production
• Experience with data pipelines and automated workflow solutions
• Experience with S3-compatible storage platforms
• Experience with Iceberg tables
• Experience connecting to Oracle/SQL Server/Hive/Teradata/PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and shell scripting
• Experience with Git and collaborative development practices
• Understanding of data lakehouse concepts
• Strong SQL and database design knowledge
• Understanding of Agile software development
• Strong analytical and communication skills
