Job summary

Thesis Care is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and scale data foundations powering its AI agents. You will own critical client integrations and ensure scalable, secure data architectures for healthcare clients.

With 4–6+ years of relevant experience and strong Python/SQL skills, you’ll work across product, engineering, and analytics to enable reliable data flows and high-quality data for AI/ML use cases. NYC-based, hybrid in-office role with generous equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of data engineering or related software engineering with a data focus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience on cloud platforms.
• Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR/HL7) and EHR data.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures across ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Own client integrations and data ingestion to onboard and normalize data.
• Design clean, well-documented data models for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data flows from sources to products, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
• Implement monitoring and testing to ensure data quality and uptime.
