Green River is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure and workflows that drive data-informed decisions. You will collaborate across disciplines, modernize legacy systems, and develop scalable data solutions with strong SQL and Python/Go skills.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and production programming experience (Python/Go).
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and containerization.
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and support reliable, production-grade data pipelines.
• Develop reusable modules and components for scalable data solutions.
• Understand and modernize inherited data systems and infrastructure.
• Leverage agentic AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work.
• Produce clear documentation to support maintainability and collaboration.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance in engineering work.
• Estimate infrastructure and operational costs for data systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines including PMs, software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, security, and BD teams.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
