Job summary

Wolfe, a Pittsburgh-based FinTech, seeks a Data Engineer to build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines and data models turning raw data into trusted datasets for AI-driven analytics. You will work within the Data Platform team under federated governance, integrating GA4, CRM, email, ads and social data with core systems.

This role emphasizes production pipelines, data quality, and governance to enable self-service analytics for business teams. Onsite in Pittsburgh with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python/Spark proficiency.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, S3, Athena, IAM) and data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data governance concepts (cataloging, lineage, access control).
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and Agentic AI concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines across data lake layers (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Integrate enterprise and marketing data sources into governed datasets.
• Develop dimensional models and semantic data products for self-service analytics.
• Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, and observability.
• Apply data governance standards in partnership with Data Stewards.
• Prepare production-ready datasets to support AI/ML workflows.
