Job summary

Disruptive Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines with a strong focus on AWS cloud services and data governance. The role requires collaborating with multiple teams to ensure scalable data infrastructure and reliable data delivery.

The candidate will implement robust data pipelines, support data infrastructure, and provide Tier 3 support for data flows and applications in a fast-paced federal/commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambda, and data stores such as PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement process improvements and infrastructure redesigns for scalability.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and artifacts such as schemas and data dictionaries.
• Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract insights.
• Support stakeholders' data infrastructure needs and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide Tier 3 support for deployed applications and dataflows.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of data engineering experienceExperience with distributed computing frameworks and cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambda, and data stores like PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, SQL
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Agile development
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of cloud message APIs, push notifications, and DevOps environments
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, scripting, and databases
