2020 Companies is hiring a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to build scalable client data pipelines and notebooks that directly support analytics and client dashboards. You will implement incremental loads, design robust data ingestion patterns, and establish monitoring to prevent SLA breaches, ensuring data quality and timely, trusted insights for stakeholders.
You will work in a remote-capable, nationwide setup with Central Time Zone considerations, collaborating with BI developers and analysts
You'll Build the Engine Behind Client Revenue
Most data engineers build internal tools. You'll build something that shows up directly in a client's boardroom.
Our Microsoft Fabric platform is the backbone of a growing Analytics & BI practice — one where the dashboards you engineer drive executive decisions, surface revenue opportunities, and set the standard for what our clients expect from data. When you optimize a pipeline or redesign a semantic model, the impact isn't abstract. It shows up in renewal conversations and client satisfaction scores.
We're scaling fast, and we need an engineer who thinks in systems, communicates with clarity, and treats client SLAs the way others treat deadlines — as non-negotiable.
Schedule: Must work hours in the Central Time Zone
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future visa sponsorship.
This isn`t a maintenance role or a "keep the lights on" position. You ll be shaping architecture in a platform that s still being built — which means your opinions matter, your patterns get adopted, and your fingerprints end up on something that scales.
As the client base grows, so does the scope. The engineer who steps into this role has a clear path toward owning the Fabric architectural standards and platform strategy.
Your efforts will have a direct influence on:
You design for scale before scale is a problem. You write documentation people actually read. You understand that a slow dashboard isn`t just a technical issue, it s a client relationship issue. And you re the kind of engineer who flags risks before they become incidents.
We welcome every voice, and we are committed to building a truly inclusive environment where your differences are not just welcomed, they are celebrated. We are always identifying opportunities to encourage our team to be their authentic selves, while working to provide a best-in-class experience for our employees. Whether that s paid holidays, long-term career pathing options, personal development opportunities or professional stretch assignments, you can expect 2020 Companies to support you.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organization and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, pregnancy, disability, age, veteran status, or other dimensions of identity.
